I thought I was in for a fun night when I met, well, let's just call her “Macy”. We were laughing and making jokes all night by the bar. She told me that she works on research paper help sites and that she's new in town and that she doesn't know anyone else. It looked like she was into me because I saw all the signals. That's when I went in for the kill. I held her hand, kissed it and then gently kissed her on the lips. She didn't protest or anything and responded with a kiss as well. I then asked for her number hoping to ask her out for a date later.

I went home from that night out with a big grin on my face.

Two days later I called up Macy to ask her out for a date. A guy answered the call which I didn't mind at all. When the guy gave the phone to Macy she told me that she doesn't remember who I was.

With a big lump on my throat slowly forming I reminded her of our get-together from two nights ago. She said she doesn't remember anything and that she is in fact straight! She even told me that the guy who answered the phone is her long time, live-in boyfriend.

I was so embarrassed by the whole thing that I hung up the phone and never said another word. And here I thought that I was on the brink of a new relationship, pffftt...

Straight girls, keep your head straight! Stop playing with our hearts!
